Dearest ANN!  Thank you very much for expressing my sentiments precisely.  I was so upset by this new we bring peace to the world line and protect the innocents from their own savage people! that we should remain in Afghanistan for the next ten or more years.....that I couldn't even answer the original email that was sent.  But your bravery in calling a sell-out a sell-out helped to clarify the issue. Why not remain in Afghanistan, it's great for the construction companies for oil and gas pipelines!  Isn't that why the Pentagon moved the CENTRAL COMMAND CENTER OF THE BIGGEST MILITARY ON EARTH to Qatar after 9/11?  The conscious and decades-long training of the minds of the American people, through universities, reconciliation speakers, HUMAN RIGHTS advocates (whose human rights and toward what goal?)  has been able to convince sections of the peace movement that a thing called HUMANITARIAN INTERVENTION is NOT intervention and exploitation, but simply bringing peace to otherwise incapable human beings .  The majority of the people who Medea and Rabia Elizabeth Roberts spoke to were part of the UN-NATO-US alliance HELPING THE U.S.-NATO forces to occupy Afghanistan.  I think people should go to: WIKIPEDIA AND READ THE SECTION WRITTEN BY AN AFGHANI WHO KNOWS THE DETAILS and re-read the history of the U.S. Military, and CIA in Afghanistan.  But we're just trying to help those poor backward MUSLIM Afghanis, and the war-lords who were trained by the American CIA! MEANWHILE, 48 MILLION AMERICAN WORKING CLASS AND POOR WILL NOT BE GETTING THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS FULFILLED BY A NATIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH CARE PLAN!  WHERE ARE THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS?? SUBSERVIENT TO THE SAME CORPORATIONS RUNNING THE MILITARY IN AFGHANISTAN!
